Accessorise your World Cup

Every morning, as I walk down to the office, I walk among flags. Flag-curtains stare at me from the windows. I stop at the traffic light, and I see flags racing on the road. Flag-zombies walk through the city centre. They race to the supermarket, to buy flag-food. I enter the bakery, and I am invited to kick Flag-Berliners. The baby next to me is waving... at the flag on his pram.

I do not have a flag. Is my life an empty one?

This is the first of a series of post on the World Cup fever, here in Marzipanium.
